I've had a busy few days, so unfortunately I've only just taken a swing at this image...
I again attempted the correction separately in each color mode (I'm trying to make a habit of doing this, to help me learn the strengths of each mode) - beginning in Lab, and then HSB, RGB, and CMYK.
I was happy with my initial Lab correction (Liberty_Lab.acv), but when I corrected in RGB and CMYK I was correcting the images to be brighter overall (than the Lab version). I preferred the brightness of these attempts, but liked the colour differentiation in the Lab image - so I duplicated my Lab attempt, took it back into CM, and tried to refine it (Liberty_Lab_Tweaks.acv).
I like the way the sunlight is picked up on the left-hand-side of the statue in my Lab corrections. I couldn't bring this out in the other color modes - so I'm just going to post my final version today. Let me know what you think :)
Cheers,
Lee.
