mostly I was curious...I have accepted the slight casts as monitor differences and try not to assume...Glad it worked for you this time...CMYK can be a very powerful colorspace. It makes more sense to people if they can think in negative colors...
C is Negative Red, M is Negative Green, and Y is Negative Blue...etc...K brings in the shadows and in press production it allows the printer to reduce the values of the other three colors. Dan Margulis writes about it extensively...
