suggestion from Mike to use the metal frame als a netral.
that is possible. But afterwards there stays  a color cast.
I have tried to compensate that in the a channel.

perhaps you are right.
but the most "green" we interpret as green has a lot of yellow.!

Indeed but, that would put the pointer between the Green and the Yellow. Not so close to the yellow. 

I think you will find the change to be subtle but effective...

oké, but using the frame as a neutral  is a good thing , Mike suggested.
But, then there resists a resistent green cast.
Must  i let exist that ?

You might have to "settle" for a bit of color in the frame unless you want to create a mask just for the frame...

Removal of all of it might not be possible...or practical for this image at this time...

Fritz's colors are, surprisingly, actually pretty close.  This is something I can demonstrate, but not explain.  Dark yellow looks green, and is a perfectly appropriate color for limes.  Grass and other foliage are closer to yellow than they are to green.  I've attached a sample image that shows this.
