Need to Cancel the call this weekend.

Everyone,
So, Yeah...I need to cancel this week due to my appendix deciding that now is the time to "Explode" OK maybe not explode but I did rupture it and I am currently recovering from that. I will have to have an outpatient surgery later this year to remove the remains of my appendix but for now me and my "Drain Bag" are trying to find a position on the couch and or chair that is comfortable enough to sit more than 30 minutes or so.

As a point of reference, I have an abdominal abscess measuring 7cm X 7cm which the surgeons need to drain and until such time as they feel they are safe to do the appendectomy I am kind of stuck.

Needless to say, it has been an interesting week and I regret not making our call.

The 26th would work, but maybe you'll need more time to feel comfortable sitting?

Hello everyone,
I am feeling better but still struggle with positional things like sitting too long. Who knew having your Appendix burst and create an abscess would be this crappy. I actually feel right now as if the treatment is worse than the affliction. (I know it's not, but this drain can really hurt sometimes.)

My short term is having the drain another week or so and then after that sometime in the later spring I will have an appendectomy to remove the remains of my appendix. (fun right!)

Right now, the 26th looks good for me and unless that changes suddenly let's call it a plan.
