30th May Discussion
Re: 30th May Discussion
Interesting for comparison. I took 31 images with my very old Canon 30D and 100mm macro lens. I used a slider to move camera, so I did not touch the focus ring on the lens. Second image was developed in Affinity Photo Beta version 1.8.650 and the first one in Helicon Fokus version 7 Helicon save as a Tiff file, so I converted both to sRGB 8 bit and resize 1920x1280 pixels in Affinity. The appearance is still more or less the same as the bigger format.
Very disappointing to me is that Focus stacking in ON1 Photo Raw is limited to 14 images. Trying to group them say doing 10 at a time and then try to stack remaining 3 or four doesn't work, error telling you the metadata differs.
Secondly, what makes AP superior for me is that the sequence of images is not important, whereas in Both Helicon and ON1 the images must be in sequence

Even in dark times, the sun do come through
Early this morning in first rays of sunlight, very early for a Sunday.. about 7:30
I do like the redness of the early sun
