Something weird: in black-and-white, it looks like you've cropped it, but I can see that you haven't. The sky is de-emphasized, I guess.

Think Maritin's image is fantastic -- just wondering if some selective dodging and cloning (done with more finesse than I have here) might address some of Greg's comments...
