Ducks Week1
I processed the duck photo in the Wizard in both LAB and RGB. Even though the RGB seems to hold the highlights better in the white feathers, I prefer the colors in the LAB version. There seems to be more detail in the dark feathers in the LAB version and more detail in the white feathers in the RGB version.

Tina,
RE: LAB Duck.
In Lab the neutral is critical. Lab can be fast and furious color but you have to nail the neutral otherwise the entire image suffers a bit for it. In your case the image is a bit too greenish...Almost a cyan cast. See shot 1.
To fix it set a neutral on the leg band as shown in shot 2 and move it around until you are satisfied with the tone.
In shot 3 I added some minor contrast adjustments in the L channel and I boosted the color a bit using the saturation slider. LAB is famous for having the saturation fall flat after tonal adjustments...it's a math problem for the color space...

Tina,
Re: RGB Duck
Overall the RGB image is in a better place which is expected since you are probably most familiar with RGB as a color space. Shot 2 is your duck with hue clocks to show you that the RGB duck has better color overall compared to the LAB duck.
Shot1 is your RGB duck with a second pass into CM with a slight tonality correction and a saturation boost. It really makes a big difference...
