Easy challenge for beginners

genf, this is really a good effort. I know that you have to work on a low res image, which makes it more dificult. I like the detail you manage to get out of the plants and the colour of the walls of the house. In reality, the roof tiles are  darker, more like something between my image and Julies' if that makes sense :D

Yes, you are right about the roof tiles. The cause of that is a luminosity blend of the red channel. That increases detail in the greenery considerably, but it also lightens the tiles.
Anyway, I like my final version, so I won't post another one.  ;)

My plants are way too dark
I will have another try and aim for an angry sky and  lighter plants
