The slight discoloation under the beak is intentional.GregM

There are multiple things going on...
The bird has been corrected BTN in the RGB space. It was tough to choose a neutral...
The saturation was boosted in LAB.
The background was changed using a LAB trick to replace the colors.
I blurred the A and B channels a bit in LAB to reduce the back ground noise.
I sharpened using USM and a copy of the same mask used for the background color change.
