Greg,
well with only a few hours sleep I have tried this one. This is the best colour I could get. I think the rocks have a good range of colours in them. The soil at the front is a bit red but there's plenty of red soil in Australia so I'm going with it.
I did try to increase the contrrast a little and I sharpened a little.

Julie,
Great job so far...now for my part....MORE COLOR!...
Try pushing the saturation slider...If the color gets all messed up. you might have to find another neutral....but you can do that after you have the saturation slider set. If setting the neutral drops the saturation you just have to reset the the slider.
Drag the neutral around like I did in the Honest Abe Video...you'll find a nice spot somewhere that makes it look right to you without the blue water...
I can say there is a lot more color in the image to be found...

Greg
I put more colour in and nearly went mad finding a neutral. I think now that I have put too much colour in when I compare the two results.
What i want is a bit less yellow, and believe me I tried. I just cant figure out how to do it! Maybe just a little less colour whould have fixed it?

This one really does come down to the neutral. The trouble is...What is a really neutral object in this frame.
.
I took your posted image and "shopped around" for a new neutral. To do that you set the neutral where you think it should be...usually something obvious. Often times because of the sample size, color noise or just plain bad luck you miss...
But with a bit of patience you can find a good neutral that allows you to really pour on the color....
