Here are my two versions of the Graffiti picture. First standard corrections in Lab mode.
Then in version one applied a lightness mask and increased saturation in Lab mode.
In version two increased saturation of part of the saturation curve in HSB and no mask.

Kessi,
With standard correction I mean setting a Black point, a white point and a neutral. This time in Lab mode. I try to avoid threshold as I think a defined black point often gives better result. But threshold can help me find that point. Neutral was chosen in pavement and moved around to find something to my liking. Then I also applied a contrast curve.
Saved and made a second pass, not standard, trying to increase colurs of the Graffiti only. This I defined as not standard! :)
