Hi,
Are we allowed to use the little we know, or I know......no offense.....ie, sharpening in these exercises? I NEVER use sharpening on an image I might change in the future..............I am trying to learn all the plusses and negatives of Curvemeister and have Kept myself (sitting on hand) from using the little I know about PS as a crutch. Can we us histograms, curves, sharpening, layers, & all the other PS commands in these exercises?

Peggy,
Please use all the tools at your disposal. The whole idea of this class is to integrate CM into your workflow.
If you want to make the image better CM is one of your tools, we hope it becomes your primary adjustment tool for all things curveable..... I think it helps to correct the image as a whole not just the curves. As we discussed in the first week of confusion, you have to have a plan and execute it...If you want to see the difference the Curves make you can turn off the curve layer after you have made more adjustments like sharpen etc.
Our ultimate goal is to teach you how to adjust curves and integrate them. I think if we fail that we fail the process.
