Absolutely an improvement, particularly to the color.
There is a trick here, that you may find of general use. If you really bump the saturation, you will see the pumpkins take on an incredible sheen, as if they were polished to a high lustre. This is what I mean in the discussion about making the pumpkins look rounder, and it's an effect that you may find use for fairly often. It is only easy to do in HSB.
