You know I gotta say that what I see on the monitor in PS and what I see coming back as a web page is really different....
I can see the details in the umbrella and the uniform in PS....

Save for web is an ugly thing....

Is there a difference between save as and save for web?

"Save As" creates a new file at whatever size you are working it could be a working copy or a version...

"Save for web" creates a file where you specify the size and quality.
You could create a 300X250 low quality JPG file from the same image you could create a 1024X768 Image in High quality.  The size of the file and the quality being the factors we are most interested in for this class...200KB is moderate quality at the sizes we are working and low quality with larger files.

we do have to have limits you know....lol

Greg
