Wow - that monkey is certainly a unique color. It looks like he got sprayed with red paint!
Your HSB version is very interesting because you are using HSB to set a neutral by dropping the saturation of any colors that are below a certain threshold. This works quite well in this case, so you may have found a new technique.

The fact that it is also more accurate is icing on the cake (do they use that expression in Holland?).
I understand it. We have not the same expressions about such a thing but another.
I can't remember, so quickly the expression. But we have a lot of expressions.
Here in holland we have lots of outlanders, so they do not understand our expressions. Also not after they live here for 15 years or more.

I guess each country has a lot of people busy inventing expressions.
BTW - I removed Curvemeister from my system, deleted the registry entries, and re-installed. The pins worked normally, so I'm fairly stumped at the moment. I'll go back and look at the .reg files you sent me and see if I can get a clue there.

Hi Frits,
It's interesting to think about the case of an image filled with spheres, cubes, and cones, all in different shades of yellow. For that particular image, absent any information about the actual colors, neither you nor I would have any idea what the correct colors were. What would you do in that case? Should the objects be made neutral, left as-is, or something else?
BTW - Here is another image of a similar monkey that you may want to try color correcting.

I use process monitor from www.sysinternals.com (it is now included in Microsoft's site) for such things.
You can be selective with this prgr.
