Sorry for the delay in getting to this...
I want you to revisit this one with a new concept in mind...The neutral can be more than grey. Pure White and Pure Black are also neutrals. You sometimes have no choice in the image but when you do you can look at the "White" to see if there is a color cast. In your case with this image it is cyan.
Try taking the "Thresholding" concept into the neutrals as well.
When you choose a neutral try moving the marker slowly around with the mouse and see if the color shifts help you to find a better neutral.
