These are much improved over the original images, but the brightest areas are still a little muted. Try going into Lab mode, and dragging the right vertical edge of the Lightness graph toward the center, until you see parts of the image being brightly accented. Then back off just a bit until there is just a salt-sprinkling of accented white pixels. This is the point at which you have given the image a full range from black to white.
