Worked in LAB. Adjusted threshold by dragging the rightside of the L curve in a couple of squares.
Then adjusted L curve further to steepen the curve that covered the main centre water drop.
This adjustment seems to have particularly brought out the texture underneath the lower-right water drop. Almost looks like a rough skin texture which I like.

You can take it further if you want and up the saturation...it is not required...
