Hello.

I saturated to bring out brilliant color.  Then I applied a K mask with no black.  I then adjusted the mask to turn down some of the saturation.  This image may not be realistic, but the colors are beautiful.  What do you think of this image?

I think the variation and saturation are quite well balanced.  You are correct in that the colors might not be 100% real at this point but that is the point as well..realizing that you can create something that looks quite nice but not quite real....
