This one is really pretty simple to do. You need not spend more than five minutes on it...
It is a trick of the Lab color space. No serious masking required...
Play around with brightness and pinning one side of the a or b curves and see if you can make it some other color.
Green is the easiest. To do that one pin the green side of the A curve and bend the Red side all the way over near the center. If you push it too far the grass looks odd...
