I set end points using threshold in Lab. Multiple neutrals in RGB Then, increased saturation and contrast. Finally, sharpened the L.

the highlight detail is lost on the head of the moth...see if you can pull the highlight threshold back a bit and recove some of the detail in the head...Also check you neutral...I see a magenta - red cast...

Thanks for your advice, Greg. I've adjusted the highlight and neutral. I've difficulty in maintaining both the rock and the ovals of the moth neutral. I've to adjust the RGB curves to set the ovals of the moth neutral while not affecting the rock. Is it better this time?

You can let go of the rock...let the shadows fall off as needed. The over all image can be very strong....
