I am having a problem when I go to view and click on copy channel,
it will not work on a single click,when I go into it again and click it starts to
work but does not complete copying,it stops about 1/8 of an inch from the
end then stops.

Joy, are you using Elements?  I've seen this situation.  When it happens, click Curvemeister's cancel button and the mask should be in the clipboard at that point.
