1) the lab image was only adjusted using the pin and ends of the a/b curve.
2) In the RGB image I also tried to remove the blue cast. Didn't quit make it.

It looks like you pulled the blue curve down at the midtone, which made the pavement yellow, but left the shadows alone. You will have better luck removing the blue from the shadows by adjusting the lower left corner of the blue curve.

Remember to use the "worm" to help you figure out where to make your adjustments.
