In South Africa, when preparing food, you may ask someone to do the "tongue tippy test" I saw this mommy with baby this afternoon. Unfortunately the sun was in the wrong part of the sky. I thought this may be a good picture to try CM on.
Regards from the Natal midlands, South Africa.

Giraffe V1- Had a hard time getting the animals head brighter. When I pushed the curve up I lost detail and the curve went wild.
Giraffe V2- Used V1 and "other" methods.

Thanks for your replies. It is so much easier if you took the shot your self, because I know what the colours should be. I first did Luminosity masking (Bob Johnson of Earthbound light) and then the RGB in CM. I think my sky could be little bit more blue, but the colour of the grass and giraffe looks about right.

I see that you have used some masking to adjust this image. Have you seen this site that has so much info that its hard to comprehend. http://www.ronbigelow.com/articles/articles.htm

Thanks Joe S
