I tried manipulating the curve in minute detail and wasn't happy with the results. A simple S curve made me happy.

Joe,
It seems a bit red visually.  When I put the hue clock on it it is a reddish yellow almost everywhere I move the cursor.  Even areas that appear to be green in the image have a yellow redish...cast.  Have you tried the "neutral thresholding"

I'd recommend using the white water foam as a neutral.
