Had a difficult time keeping detail in the white shirts.

this is not an easy image, by any means.  The key to keeping detail in the shirts is to keep the white end of the Lightness curve at a reasonable slope.  In your curve (which is embedded in the image) the Lightness curve levels out, resulting in less contrast in the shirts.
