duck,again

After working with the numbers in the boxes ,I went back to the duck to get the contrast between top and bottom right.I was able to get it to look like someone hadn't set off a flashbulb under the duck but overall the picture was dim.Everything I tried blew out the white,even Brightness in PSE4.I finally fell back on Levels where a nudge of the rt slider brought it under control.Greg M

Well, this image has great detail every where, so kudos to you.  If you can do it in levels, by nudging the slider, it can also be done in curves, by moving the bright end of the curve.
