Shadow & HighLight settings

I'm just a little confused Mike about setting the values for these points

At the moment they are L0 & L100, but I believe Dan recommends 6 & 97.

Persumably Dan is setting these values for prints, but for screen/web 0&100 are better.

Is that correct?

People have different preferences.  The default settings for Curvemeister may be a bit harsh, and I think they work well for screen and web as you say.  I've often considered changing Curvemeister's defaults to be more conservative, but my own person preference is to to add more, rather than less, contrast to images.  You are welcome to change these defaults, if you would like.
