indeed...
Try different Pin modes. Many times I switch the mode of the pin from SAT/BRI/Hue to just HUE/SAT. It helps to not muck up the image too much.
Right click on the Skin tone pin and choose "Pin Mode" the Select the one you think gives you the most control..
