I like this photo. I have always liked these kind of images with fog and mist, kind of different from the usually clear and bright landscapes.

Looking good so far...can you recover any more highlight detail in the background while keeping the rest of the image intact...
I know there is more in there...

I did like a reverse lizzard's tail up in the cloud region of the L curve.We'll see whether it survives transmission.I also added a little blue in the b channel.

Maybe the mist looks a bit less like polution.

I had fun with this one. I ended up with a rather odd L channel curve to get the tonalities to separate out. I also kicked the top end of the b curve to the right a bit to take some of the yellow cast out.

I never tried saving the curves before, but I did this time, to see if Mike or Greg might want to comment. See the attached.

What an interesting little curve.
attached are a before and after shot of a subtle change.
This is one of the most interpreted images we use..It is really fun to see how many different ways peopl treat this image and still get what we are looking for...
