How does he pick these terrible images?
I havent seen this lady before, so am not sure I've got the right shade of green.
Tried rgb but that was hopeless - so Lab it is again!

I ran the image through NeatImage, because these low res files contain so much noise - can we have bigger ones in future please.

looking at my submission - it looks a bit flat, but I (obviously) didnt manage to correct that in lab
So I just tried a simple very gentle rgb curve to bring out a bit more detail.
As Mike as stated (somewhere) - finer adjustments in contrast are easier in rgb than lab

Mike works hard at getting these bad images....

Remeber that this is the first week and over adjusting the images is kind of the trap.  The solutions are actually much simpler. 

Your Lady Liberty is a bit dark but a fine adjustment.  She is not quite so intense in color but I know you are pushing the saturation harder in your work...I like colorful images
