Ok, so I was shooting in the yard today and "I missed it by that much..."

See what you can make out of my near miss....
Try for color, increase the contrast and above all have fun!

A littlefun in HSB.Chris,I read what you said about backgrounds for the rose picture.You're right.But for this version I think the starburst of color and detail to the pistel(or whatever it is) draws the attention.Reminds me of some fireworks I saw last week.GregM

I think this one is more orange-red  than pure red. The anthers (is it the right word?) must be yellow and as I learned from Greg and Mike about foliage, I guess the green leaves must be on the yellow side of green. Well, this is my shot at Gregs' shot.
