I played a bit differently here. I used a mask on the R channel and then change the colour to yellow. It is sloppy, but I didn't want to spend time cleaning the mask up.

Greg, not without having an effect on the surroundings; turning the tail lights yellow etc.

Anything red will turn yellow.  see if you can control the range of the change and minimize the effect.  The tail lights are expected...Can you keep the fence and the ground normal looking??

Ganna, you can't let the circles on the tires turn yellow! Those are Goodyear Red
Streaks,period high performance tires.

I tried in Lab and HSB, though the yellow in Lab, while trying to get the grass green, looks a bit "sharky" or shall I say khaki. Sorry GregM, I thought they were white walls, but the factory ran out of white paint ;D

The lower is better than the upper but both would be acceptable.  The Idea is to manipulate the single color.  This is a very useful process in that many times you will want to kill off a color in the shadows or accent a color as needed.

Very interesting the HSB one - much more intuitive than Lab - I must remember that in the future
