My attempt at Miss Liberty.  I tried to keep the sky neutral and really emphasize the verdigris tones in contrast to the golden flame.

I like this rendition...Good work...you killed the color in the sky as you stated and you kept the patina in the statue. 

There is a large amount of room for interpretation in this image...you have a nice version...
