Did a "by the numbers" adjustment in RGB.  (That technique really appeals to me for some reason.)  Then a second pass in Lab with a b mask.  So this time the cyan fur is minimized.

I took your image and added a neutral.  See screen shot.

I have also included the ACV file.  Save it to your desktop and then you can open your image in CM and load this file.  Unless you monitor is really out of adjustment for color I'm afraid you went too far with this Brian....

Nope.  I think our colors are matching.  I guess I thought this was taken in early morning or later afternoon light.  Shouldn't doing a "by the numbers" adjustment yield true colors?  Did I possibly do it wrong?

You certainly have missed the mark on the BTN correction ...your eyes should tell you a lot...

Remember the highlight and shadow should be the highest and lowest values for any one single channel. The mid tone is an average of all three channels before the highlight and shadow are changed.
