I'm very please with this photo, taken yesterday, of a Western Meadowlark.
As always, though, what comes out of the camera can always be improved on. Can you add a little snap to the image, while keeping the basic colors of the bird about where they are?

This image can be improved greatly with a pretty simple curve move. Use your knowledge of color spaces and see if you can make the sky behind the bird a nice light blue without bringing any into the yellow browns of the bird itself.
Contrast and lighting can also be helped a bit....
