Tiger by the numbers,paw249,lightest grey rock135,crevice in standing tree trunk29.S curve was Lab,no additional thresholding, very wide and mild.Sharpening by Neat Image,I like what it did to the fallen trunk.GregM
Tiger 2 in Lab.After the Lab pass I thought the s curve was changing too much of the overall picture so I used the quick select tool on the tiger and slapped an s curve on him and a nudge of color as well.GregM

Greg, To me it seems like you have a color cast.  I found it in the second one quite easily...everything just looks blue...
Shot2 is the first image...shot1 is the second one...it seems like it is building....

Two test shots.
I do have a problem in that when I try to" set highlight "in RGB the image goes red as in a mask and the red curve just goes off the chart.Curvemeister v3.0.12  GregM

Greg,
I'm not sure what is going on but here is a side by side from my system of your image and Julie's.
I would say yours makes hers look slightly green visually but the her image is not that far off...

Have you updated anything else in the display systems??  Driver?  Profile in PS??
I'm not sure...
