After some work on the brightness channel to bring out the under pumpkins and a saturation boost I went to cmyk and moved the magenta curve a bit for the final color.GregM

Thanks for posting that Greg - it's great to see another interpretation of this image  :).

I'm also finding it really interesting learning about how other people approach corrections. I will definitely have to have a go at working it in CMYK (when I'm more comfortable with CMYK  ;)).

Can you add back some of the shape...I think it needs just a bit more...On my screen it lots a tad flat....

Reopened image.My initial move  in brightness sucked vitality from the image.I was trying an alternative to a lizzard tail.GregM
Pump3 image is done according to Mike's  instructions(when all else fails read the instructions)

I think that the storks in version 3 are much better than version 2 (in v2 they look too blue, and over saturated - at least on my screen). I like the colour of the pumpkins in v2 more though...
