I had a jolt. The screensaver copies to the clipboard. I did that after I copied the channel. Boy it looked weird.

Overall the mask looks good...You can copy it to the clipboard using the mask copy tool (Center Icon Shown below) and add it as a layer mask in PS so that you can paint out the grass areas around the dog and lose the pink grass...
