Week 5 - Example 5 - Taipei Graffiti

Hello.

I experimented with this image using Smart Filters in Lab.  I choose the L channel for a masking.  I slightly adjusted the mask to make the black a little darker.  I the used the saturation slider with a final adjustment to the B channel.  What do you think of this image?

Hello.

I decided to try this image again.  For some reason, your comments were never posted for my first try; please comment on the first try too.

This time, I used the saturation slider to intensify the graffiti.  Then I set a highlight, shadow and neutral.  I used the G channel as a mask.  I like this try better than the first time.  What do you think of this image?

It looks good...It can be pushed further but overall you have brightened the color and kept it real.

Sorry if I missed this one... I keep looking to see if I am the last posting on the thread and I check posts where I am not the last...just to make sure ...I am now -2 when it comes to your postings...If I hit -3 I'll have to figure out a way to grant you bonus points...
