1. Started in Lab and used the shadow and highlight thresholds to increase the contrast. Then I used the saturation slider. Could not find the red net and I lost those towering hills! On a second glance there is some red.

2. This time I started in RGB and adjusted the thresholds on the RGB curve, next I made minor adjustments to the green and blue curve. I like the colour I achieved and there is some red in the net.

I don't mind either of these images, the first is cool and the second one has the feel of the warmth that often comes with early morning light.

The beauty of this image is that no matter what you do to it unless it is really horrible you get an acceptable image.  There are a few no no's green mist might be one of them. 

The others are losing the sky detail in the brightest areas...You need to keep the sky intact to help the mood of the image in my humble and often wrong opinion....

The RGB does look better overall I think...
