Try to open the shadows in the trees without washing out the color...
It's really about where you want it to be...it is a lovely correction...

Your correction looks great.  How did you get so much detail in the sky/clouds? 
(Finding that difficult.)

Today I found someone, who was able to translate. Still don't got it exactly, but a little idea.

hm, I'm not that sure. Walks from allone by pushing contrast.
When they went to light, I paint back with a mask and a soft, black brush.

Hi Art,

now I remember, what I've done with the clouds, after seeing it on the call.
It was a tip from the last conference call to straight up the curve on the bright side, set a point above and flatten curve from there. You remember?
