Hi,

Here is my try at the boat.  Besides lightening the image up, the biggest change was to set a point on the light area of the superstructure and setting the a and b channels to 0 on the assumption that most boats have a white one.  There seemed to be some detail in the windows of the pilot hpuse, but I could not seem to bring any of it out.  Is there any?

I am starting over.  Somehow I loaded a small version of the image.  It made it hard to work with.

It works better with a full size image.  I was wondering how I was supposed to work on one so small.  I have no idea what I downloaded except that it had a _small appended to the name.  Is this better?

It is better a bit flat in the mid-tones but better.  Go after the mid-tones a bit more and pump up the color.
