Hi
I have not been very active so far but will be better this week
Hope you enjoyed the Skype call and I look forward to seeing it on line
this is dan in hat
I did it differently to the video
I think you showed me this method in the last class I did
I sure hope I am not making it up
I moved the end points to adjust highlight and shadow
To adjust the midpoint/neutral I averaged the numbers and then found the original number on the graph and moved that to the new place
I used the number in the second row - so not really the original but the one that may have changed after adjustments to the highlight and shadow
I then went back into curvemeister in lab and lightened Dan a little
I may have lost some detail in the highlights doing this ???
I am also concerned that dan may be a little on the yellow side
I do wonder if my monitor needs calibrating cause everything looks a little yellow to me
I have a question
why do the numbers need to be slightly different at times to get the hue clock to show a dot?
looking forward to your comments
Julie
ps for Tina
It took me a while to really start using this method but I would not be without it now
I used to think it was too mechanical but it gives a really good starting place
I use it all the time and am grateful that Greg took the time in a class to convince me to give it a chance
julie week 3 dan in hat
