Revisiting Malta

Since Greg did all the hard work on this image, I decided to start with his corrected version and have a go at the floor (okra, or thereabouts), and fine-tune the walls.
This image will always be a work in progress I think.

Art can you tell us what you did for the floor??  It seems like it was toned but yet not...

I changed the hue in HSB, and then used a layer mask to brush it onto the floor. I conservatively used a lighter color; the version attached, for example, with a more deeply saturated hue, looks better to me in some respects.  But I don't know if it's correct.
Julie, is this getting closer to what you saw, or would like to see?  Also, what about the colors at the bottom of the rear wall  -- are the colors there in this version "real" or artifacts.

For me art the poles are giving this away for you.

If the bottoms of the poles looked more like the tops of the poles you would accept the floor as is but the color of the floor leaking into the posts makes it look "fake"
