Steve,

Is there some calibration issue going on?  My laptop screen shows your stuff as kind of blue....

This was done with my laptop.  I avoid any colorful corrections with it.  I was frustrated with my desktop.

You may ignore the following rant.

==============

Desktop issues-  halfway through.  Answer is probably a new monitor.  I have a dual monitor setup.  One business color quality analog monitor.  One higher class (but not great) IPS monitor, that is digital.  Samsung 245t.  My operating system / graphics card forces the analog to be monitor 1.  So the computer wakes up to the analog and later makes the digital monitor number one under windows.  I use a gretag eye one calibrator on the digital.

I decided to do advanced calibration.  I wanted a better gamma.  It showed as 2.5.  What could go wrong/?  The process encourages you to manually adjust the monitor to improve performance.  Well, just before leaving, I think that windows / gretag get confused who is one and two.  Not pretty.

Labor Day will be the time to open the box and video card, and windows 7.  The real answer is a new 27 inch and no more dual.
