Hi
I've been looking at this all morning and have lost all capacity for assessment

I think I like this, but would appreciate some fresh eyes to look it over
I am not sure of the crop so I have included the full image as well
This was taken at the end of the day and I have not colour corrected the sunset glow by choice
When I tried colour correcting the image seemed very dull and uninteresting and I remember taking this because of the golden light reflected on the wall
I am attracted to the curves of the staircase and the shadows on the wall

Any thoughts

Julie, I think your crop is much better. Perhaps a fraction more on the left to eliminate the grey bar upper left

Julie, looking at your cropped image: the upper left side (upper 1/3) of image, inverted c-shape thats in the shade

I played with your image, not a good idea to crop, but I cloned the bar out
