Greetings!
There is a tool from Photoshop Elements 2 that I really miss when I am in the Curvemeister filter. It is the "Zoom Tool" invoked by clicking one corner of the desired new viewing rectangle, and dragging to the oppostie corner of the new viewing rectangle. Like a crop tool that instead zooms. This is much faster and easier for me than repeating these two steps until zoomed in far enough:
1) ctrl alt +
2) recenter via scrollbars.
