The problem is my own laziness.
There are four versions of curvemeister - demo, 64 bit, 32 bit, and Elements. Each of them has their own installer and supporting files. When I roll out a new version, I need to build all four of these, upload and download them, and install them and verify that they work correctly.
Adding a fifth one increases overall maintenance by 20% - actually somewhat more because the 64 bit install is more complex than the 32 bit one, since it uses the newer manifest-based installation and msi file.
This policy is subject to review, and I appreciate hearing that you feel it is a top priority - these things have an impact.

Hi guys,
I'm not normally one to go to the effort of signing up to a forum, but I'm a big curves user and keep coming across this site and would LOVE to try this software out. Unfortunately, like our previous posters, I have installed CS6 64bit only to save space (laptop with SSD) and am unable to run the demo :(
Having written software and run web sites in the past, I would hazard a guess and say that we are the vocal minority that go to the effort of signing up to the forum and asking for help with regards to the 64bit demo. This is at least the third time I've tried to use the demo. The previous times it hadn't occurred to me it was a 64bit/32bit incompatibility and I just gave up and uninstalled it. This time a desperate attempt (involving cached forum entries found via google searches) uncovered the fact that the demo is 32bit only, and only when the 64bit versions I downloaded required a serial did I sign up to the forum. (and I'll be honest, only after a quick search for a keygen fell short. I would have purchased it outright if it had worked, but being human, I wanted instant gratification, and forums rarely offer that)
I know from personal experience that running sites and writing software is often a thankless undertaking, so please don't take this personally :) But I'm far from the top 1% and parting with nearly $100AUD (when you take into account exchange rates and overseas transaction fees - yep that still happens here...) isn't going to happen unless I can prove that this is the right tool for the job.
Anyway, fingers crossed. From what I can tell this app has so much promise! Can't wait to give it a try.

Muzzi,
We completely understand your position.
Question for you have you watched any of the CM videos on youtube?

The reason I ask is that any of the videos you see on the site are recorded using the 64 bit version of the plugin.
I'll forward your request to Mike. The more he hears this the more he will consider writing a 64 bit demo...

Hey Greg and Julie,
Thanks for your replies. It is comforting to know that I'll get quick responses from this forum (even though my reply is nearly 24 hours later!) And also that local friends have found the investment worthwhile!
Thanks for the YouTube links too. I'm most interested in curve extraction. Especially reverse engineering images of mine, mostly film scans that I've played with and lost the psd for (I had a massive hard drive crash a while back) but the videos show some of other functionality I'm keen to explore.
