I just updated to v3.3.2. I now have no pins. Message come up on starting saying there has been an error reading nature and people txt files. I really like my skin pins. Can you tell me what to do?
Julie
updated and now no pins
Julie,
For 32 bit systems you should use the 3.3.5 version.
It sees all of my pins. There is a bug in the 64 bit version that is giving the pins files trouble. Mike is aware and will be addressing it soon.
See my screens below If you click ok on the error dialog the CM program will still run but the pins are certainly an issue...I'll see what I can figure out..

Thanks Mike...
Julie,
This is a ownership issue for WIN7-64 In the 64 bit version the files are not assigned any ownership. To do that you have to go to the files on the system they are found in:
C:ProgramDataCurvemeister.comCurvemeister3-64Swatches
The right click on the the files you want to see in CM. Choose properties and then click on the securities tab. Shot 4 and 5
Click on the advanced tab
Make sure that "you" and/or the "administrator" account are listed as shown in .
If it is blank you should be able to add yourself and the admin account to the list and then assign "full" rights under the permissions tab.
Click check names and then add and then list the Admin and your user account.
Then click the full access check box and click ok.
When you have full access to the files your Curvemeister will as well and then it will work.. I fixed my problem this way...after looking into your problem.
